AN EXCEPTIONAL CONCESSION

Good taste is inherited. A few of the pictures required assistance. The following parties may accept a restrained measure of credit.
THE COLLECTION
Provenance
is everything.
The partners, as photographed.
The supplied film still is from Trading Places (1983), Paramount Pictures. The original watermark is preserved. Its unusually permissive guest list is a matter for the archive.
The family and its inconvenient acquaintances.
The About page uses actual stills from Trading Places (1983), Paramount Pictures. The brothers’ handshake is sourced from Yahoo Movies UK’s interview with John Landis. Individual character pictures are sourced from IMDb’s film galleries: Randolph Duke (Ralph Bellamy); Mortimer Duke (Don Ameche); Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd); Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy); Coleman (Denholm Elliott); Ophelia (Jamie Lee Curtis). Images are resized for display; faces are unaltered. All underlying film rights remain with their respective owners.
Our imagined premises.
The mahogany office, banker’s lamp, wood surface, double-D crest, and social sharing artwork are custom concept artwork for this project, informed by the supplied film reference. The taste, naturally, is beyond dispute.
Architecture of suitable standing.
Philadelphia’s Merchants’ Exchange appears in a National Park Service photograph, shown with a muted color treatment. Philadelphia’s nomination for 123 South Broad Street informed the architectural research.
The agricultural interests.
The wheat field was photographed by James Ahlberg / Unsplash; the oranges by Tim Mossholder / Unsplash. Both are used under the Unsplash License.
The letters, properly dressed.
Cormorant Garamond and Manrope are supplied with their Cormorant and Manrope font license notices. Even our typography arrives with papers.
The cinematic record.
Character names and cast credits were checked against Paramount’s film page; location details against the American Film Institute catalog. The remaining self-importance is our own contribution.
